The Green Party is united with the people of Uttlesford in sadness and grateful thanks for the life of Queen Elizabeth II and in sending our most sincere condolences to the Royal Family.
The Queen was a constant presence in an ever-changing an often tumultuous and divided world. She was able to unite us and give us repeated cause for celebration. She was a dependable and, it seemed, a permanent presence in our lives.
Her performances with James Bond and Paddington Bear will be one of many joyful memories that we will treasure.
For your steadfast sense of duty and devotion, we thank you and we will miss you. God bless you, ma’am.
